No other car below 60k other than the GT350 brought me as much joy to drive as the Miata for me on the street.
The only car I entertained to buying instead was a Mustang GT350 back in 2015, but after talking with the powertrain development guys from Ford Performance, I knew that engine was going to be a nightmare so decided against it (2021 me happy I dodged that bullet but that's still the most glorious engine I had a pleasure to experience). I have nothing but utmost respect for those track monsters I drove, but they simply are not as fun on a public roads. Drove Focus RS as well.Īnd yet I'll still take a ND Miata any day for myself.
